~ November 2018 Update ~

I have neglected you BLOG.....time write something new.  So here is a bit of an update.  I am currently fighting off a nasty old cold.  It wasn't fun, sick for a few days but I am on the mend.  Photography has gotten to be SO SO SO slow.  I am not shooting much TFP anymore and have been actually enjoying art a LOT lately.  Watercolor paints are so much fun and I am trying to spend more time with art.  I have also been playing a lot of Call of Duty (Black Ops 4) on my xbox one x.

I am hoping to get my studio lights up one day soon and find a model or two to come shoot here.  I think in a few more days this cold should be gone, just in time for my November break.  Tomorrow in the United States I am HOPING Americans can get it right and vote out some of those moron Republicans.  For me it comes down to tomorrow, if they don't go with the BLUE wave then it will tell the world that America is this toxic and Trump does represent current American values and attitudes...which is seriously sad if that happens.

My photography shares today are from the FLICKR feed, which has just updated it's PRO account.  It's a bit more pricey but I am so impressed with it's features.  Unlimited full sized images and a few more nice features for professional photographers.  I have used 500px less and less over the last few years.  I kinda have a soft spot for FLICKR as I was on it from pretty much the beginning of these photography shenanigans.  So back to the photos for today...these are some sunset pics, shot only a few minutes away from my house.

This how my day started.....really positive day for a Monday.  My Media League team really stepped up and we're currently leading our first game of the year.  Now we just need to share like mad and hope we pull off a win!!! -Randy

Went to the badlands, haven't been there in a LONG time.  Went down for a night and did some shooting with friends and had a good time.  Was fun to revisit this spot, last time I was here I didn't know much about photography.  I feel I did it more justice this time than my last visit. -Randy

It has been cold lately, but during the day the sun beats winter up a bit and melts some snow.  Soon, we'll be basking in hot sunshine and I'll be venturing outside more for photos!! :) -Randy

1 month down, 11 to go.......decided to drive down the street and shoot this big silver dome church that we have lived nearby for years.  Love the distortion from the wide angle.  :)  Can finally see it nice and juicy on full frame. :) -Randy

~ Elk Island Get Away Spring 2011 ~

I have been seeing the weather out and wanting to shoot some nature shots. So yesterday I came home from work, had a bit of a nap then drove out to Elk Island Park for some shooting. I used my 40D and 70D equally. I feel like a little kid again when I am shooting nature pictures. I love it. I really enjoy working with people, but I do love more then anything shooting the beauty of this earth. I feel so connected to God when I am outside, fresh air, beauty all around.

~ 91/365 Blue ~

I had a good day today, even though I am fighting a cold and feeling rough. I still found moments where I could enjoy the day. I had a nice long nap with Nahla and Finny. I did a bit of cleaning and organizing. All in all it was a really good day today.
