I got to do some photos with two friends.  Using mostly the sigma 35 art and a bit of the 85 1.4 rokinon lens we went to Festival Place in Sherwood Park and walked around taking pictures.  It was a last minute photo shoot but sometimes those are the best kind. :)  Have a great Tuesday!!! :)

What do you love the most about modelling? 
I love how Modelling makes me feel. When I am modelling I am reminded that I am way too hard on myself and how I look. I am gorgeous and I can feel empowered by that knowledge.
What is the most challenging thing about modelling for you?
Most challenging this for me would be trying to have more than one expression.
Do you prefer color or black and white?
I love colour. Although black and white does have a certain timeless feel about it.
What tips do you have for models that are just starting out that you wish you knew when you started? Do not be afraid to be comfortable in your own skin. Your clothing size does not determine how good you will look in your portraits!
Do you prefer shooting in natural light or studio light?
I love Golden light, so I prefer shooting in natural light for sure.
Where would be your dream location to do a photo shoot?
Anywhere warm really. I don't think I have a real dream location in mind though. A good photographer can make any location look amazing!
What kind of music do you like to listen to when you are at a shoot or getting ready for a shoot?
I love to listen to any sort of Pop or Hip hop when getting ready, Iggy azalea is my weakness though. What color is your favorite? I adore Green and everything about it!
What social media do you use? Feel free to shamelessly plug yourself or stay secretive.
I love Facebook. It has helped me connect with some amazing individuals, and reach a broader clientele when I was running my photography business.
What would you say is your biggest strength?
I would say my biggest strength would be the ability to see good in people even when they cannot see it in themselves, and to be able to see past looks and love people for their personality, uniqueness and individuality.

Went to Edmonton today, on the way I did a couples shoot of a young couple in Sherwood Park and then stopped in to visit the big name Edmonton photographer, Candace Vanstryland.  Got a few shots of her before it went all dark in the land of the fading sunlight. -Randy

It was a LOT warmer today for my shoot on Whyte Ave with Janaya.  When I first met her it was winter and super COLD!!!!  It was great to have a chance to shoot with her again.  Enjoyed exploring Whyte and all the spots to shoot.  Had the usual creeper audience too while we shot....good times. -Randy

This has to be one of the coolest poses I have ever seen a model pull off. :)  Huge props to Leanne for this shot.  I suggested she try and get a leg up on the wall and she went all spidey model and just free styled it.  :)  Really had a fun day, shooting with 2 models....just too bad Sherwood Park Toyota gave me some terrible customer service today.  Other than that today rocked! -Randy

Something fun about shooting some bright yellow canola fields.  I was able to get Sabrina out for some evening shots before the thunder rolls in to storm all night.  It's been a HOT day, happy to end it with a photo shoot. :)  -Randy

I couldn't ask for a better last shoot before going "over the hill" and turning the big 40!!!  These lovely models came out on a cloudy then sunny then cloudy then sunny day in Edmonton!!!!  Thanks to them all, Nikki and Cheryl I've known a LONG time, makes me feel even older when I think about it.  :)  It's been a great weekend.  Happy to have had today to be outside shooting. -Randy

Sabrina came over and we were able to shoot some blossom photos before they disappear.  There is only a limited window of blossom availability.  I really am happy with this shot.  Too bad there was like a MILLION skeeters out there making the outdoors less fun. -Randy

Woke up to everyone complaining about the snow on FB.  But this is a great example of why I love snow and winter. :)  Been wanting a shot like this all winter and it finally came in spring. :)  Thanks to the lovely Sabrina who came over on the spur of the moment so I could get this shot. :)  Happy Spring everyone. -Randy

Went to Fort Sask for my dental appointment of 2013, hoping it is my only one.  Then on the way home took a stop for a mini shoot  in Elk Island Park with the lovely Janaya.  She didn't bring "appropriate" footwear so we couldn't be too brave and go off the main trails.  But it was her first time in Elk Island Park so she didn't really know what to expect I think.  Still I am happy to be out shooting in the sunshine. :) -Randy

SPRING BREAK STARTED TODAY!!!!!!! Can't you tell??  hehehe, Sabrina was awesome in a last minute shoot to try and get some BIG snow flakes.  I grabbed the 70-200 and tried to get some but at the time we were out they were TINY!! But we still had fun and I cannot wait to post more from this shoot.  Sabrina earned the name Spidey Sabrina during this shoot.  What a crazy weather day! -Randy

Nice surprise today, I got to shoot with a model that has worked with the AMAZING Claudine Gladue (a photography I have huge respect for and hope to one day meet, hint hint, Claudine) :) Anyway, Claudine has an amazing photo of Chayla taken at a Saddle Lake Pow Wow.....love those pics. Chayla is going to be going in to a Miss World Pageant and I wish her all the best. Thankful that she allowed me to take some promo shots for her run at the crown. :) -Randy
