Sarah Cole allowed me to have the honor of doing some shots for her. She will be using them for self promo and possibly for her upcoming CD. I loved her look at how the photos turned out. I want to thank Lady Luck Makeup for doing Sarah's makeup for her. They are awesome ladies and are highly recommended. Sarah is a talented and beautiful young woman...who has a wonderful voice. I hope to shoot with her again soon. Here is a few edits from our shoot, more to come.

~ NEW JOB ~

Well, MAJOR NEWS in my world. I am now a teacher at Vegreville Composite High School. I was offered a position and gladly accepted. I knew I had an interview but didn't say anything until now. I am nervous but excited. More opportunities for me and less driving. It will be so nice, I can't really believe it...still sinking in. I am very grateful and thankful for this chance.

My last day of work is Monday!! I can't wait for holidays. SO MUCH TO DO TO END THE YEAR....here are some Erin edits for now. :)

~ Gran Torino Has COOL Lighting on it's Poster ~

I really want to try this style of lighting....loved this movie with Clint and would love to try it with a model or friend to see if I could master this style. :)

I love the dramatic side lighting....reminds me a bit of Frank Miller comics. Love it and hope to find a successful way to emulate it.

~ Erin and Ryan ~

Pictures of Erin and Ryan. They are a very cool couple that is off to Europe this summer. I hope they have an awesome time and thank them for letting me capture some cool shots of them both. I needed to get out and break in my 430ex for the summer. I need to learn how to do flash photography better. :) Mac and I need to hang more, he's a flash MASTER! :)

Here are some edits:

~ Weekend ~

It was a cool weekend weather wise, Sunday being CHILLY!! :) Here is an edit of Elisha that is new. I also am shooting with Erin a girl I work with who could easily model if she so wanted...her boyfriend and another co-worker is coming too, should be fun. :)

~ School is almost out ~

Only a few more weeks left in this school year. I am really excited about the summer and the opportunities it might bring. I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer. I know teachers are blessed with a long holiday but unless you've been in a school for a year teaching, most will never know how well earned it really is.

I feel like everything is coming to an end, this Friday is the cutoff date for report cards and everything should be wrapped up. Next week is cleanup, year end trips, all that fun stuff....then SUMMER IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is an edit of the powerful Scott of Putnam Fitness:

~ Body Builder ~

I got a chance to shoot with a body builder named Scott of Putnam Fitness in Edmonton. He has a competition coming soon and getting to top shape. I was able to meet up with my good buddy Mac and we both had a chance to shoot with Scott. Turns out Scott is also an artist/comic book fan and video gamer too. Very cool. :) He is a great guy that knows his body building and seems to be very knowledgeable about it. Here are a few edits from our shoot:

~ Monday ~

BUSY BUSY BUSY life. Lots on the go, Jenn and I are cleaning the house, I am busy wrapping up the school year. Crazy stuff going on as teachers shut it down for the year.

I have a few shoots up and coming. Also rocking the new xbox elite, thanks to SONNY V!! :) Bday is on Wednesday, 36 years OLD! :) and I do feel old like dirt.

Had a great day yesterday. Had Nestor over for a visit, he is a good buddy. We played 2k basketball and Lakers won vs the Magic. Then the real life Lakers did the same.....I also had a yummy bbq thanks to my awesome wife.

Looking forward to summer so much. Hope to do a lot of photography. Here is a current Elisha edit:

Aquarius

My lovely wife and her last dance performance of the year. :)

~ Birthday Month, Great friend and my Xbox Elite ~

Almost the official Birthday week. My bday is on June 10th, middle of next week. Looking forward to being 36. Just feels like I am entering a new phase of life rather then getting older. I like the experiences it brings me. Life experience is a great reward and I appreciate the journey.

My friend Sonny did an awesome thing for me today, he got me an Xbox 360 Elite. I have to pay him back but since mine broke he helped me get a new one right away. He is an excellent buddy and has always been there when needed. I will find a way to pay him back with some kindness.

Well, bed time for me, just wanted to update this blog. :)
